Domaine Zuria

Corsica, France
Bonifacio (Corsican: Bunifaziu) is located on the Southern most part of Corsica. It is the biggest commune in Corsica. It is bordered to the North by the canton of Figari which is where Clos Canarelli is located. The city itself was founded as a fortress by Boniface II of Tuscany in 828, whose name the city takes its name.
Once upon a time, there were many vineyards planted in Bonifacio, but today there are only two producers with vineyards within this commune that produce wine there: Clos Canarelli who now bottles a Bonifacio designated white wine and Domaine Zuria.
Domaine Zuria is owned by Christian and Nadine Zuria. Christian has been a farmer for several generations, but wine production is fairly new.
